To help you explore our territory, we have selected the 5 "heart" spots between Capo Vaticano and Santa Maria that you absolutely cannot miss.

Want to enjoy this view? Check availability for our villas

1. The Lighthouse Belvedere: The Gods’ Viewpoint

Located just a few minutes from our villas, the belvedere by the Capo Vaticano Lighthouse offers a breathtaking view stretching from the Aeolian Islands all the way to the Strait of Messina.

Staff tip: Come here at sunset to watch the sun “dive” right next to Stromboli. It’s the perfect spot to take unforgettable photos.

2. Grotticelle Beach: A White-Sand Paradise

It’s the area’s most famous beach, made up of three adjoining coves lapped by turquoise, crystal-clear waters. The very fine sand and shallow seabed make it ideal for families too.

What to do: You can rent a pedal boat or a kayak to explore the nearby inlets, where the water becomes even more transparent.

3. Praia i Focu: The Hidden Pearl

Reachable only by sea, this small beach is nestled between high cliffs that shelter it from the winds, creating a unique microclimate. Its name comes from the fires fishermen once lit to find their way.

How to get there: Ask the “taxi boats” that leave from Grotticelle or Santa Maria; in just a few minutes you’ll find yourself in a wild, unspoiled corner.

4. Santa Maria di Ricadi Beach

This beach enchants with its authentic atmosphere. Here, fishermen’s houses look out almost directly onto the shore and banana trees grow just a few meters from the water. Compared to other areas, it keeps a calmer, more intimate charm.

Fun fact: The sea slopes down gently here, making it perfect for long, restorative swims.

5. The “Garden of the Gods” Belvedere

Less well known but just as charming, this scenic viewpoint offers a different perspective over the coves below. It’s a well-kept park with plants typical of the Mediterranean scrub, ideal for a relaxing walk amid the scent of rosemary and the sea.
